By Air

Puri is a terminus on the East Coast Railway which is directly connected with New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Okha, Ahmedabad, Tirupati etc. by express and super fast trains. Some important trains are Kolkata (howrah) puri howrah explicit, jagannath explicit, new delhi purushottam express and many others. Khurda Road Station, 44 km from Puri, is a convenient train route for Chennai and Western India. The station is about one km north of the city. After this you can reach the temple by rickshaw and auto rickshaw.
