History of Lake Mansarovar:

Secondly, it has an area of about 225 square kilometers, 84 km circumference and 150 feet deep lake called Rakshasa, which is one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world and is similar in size to Chandra. Both these lakes exhibit solar and lunar forces which are related to positive and negative energy.
To the north of these two lakes is Mount Kailash. To its south are the Gurla ranges and the Gurla peak.
What to do if you are traveling?
The journey starts from Uttarakhand, Himachal, Sikkim and Kathmandu in Nepal. It is safest to go through Nathura Pass in Sikkim. If you are going to Kailash Mansarovar, then you have to be ready to walk 75 KM on foot and climb hills. It is important that your body is strong and tolerant of all kinds of environment and fatigue.
